Established in 1992 Springboard offers innovative learning and transformative opportunities for communities and people. Our work is focused on building employability, promoting good relations and active citizenship. We have worked with in excess 13000 people, with a significant majority being young people. During their Springboard journey young people create their own pathway by building confidence, wellbeing, employability, qualifications, an appreciation of diversity and renewed sense of community belonging.
Springboard offers development opportunities focusing on personal development, employability and qualifications, good relations and citizenship. Our work is grant aided and we can work within schools, youth settings and communities. Much of our work focuses on young people aged 14-25 years within Greater Belfast, however we are also able to work with a variety of age groups across N Ireland. Across all our provision we offer personal development, supporting individuals to explore the potential within them. We also offer the following key areas of development.
Our employability support builds confidence and can provide assisted job search, application completion, CV building, interview support, accredited and non-accredited training and workplace orientation and placement.
Our good relations work brings young people from across communities to develop mutual understanding, encourage active engagement and contribute to building shared communities.
Our citizenship and community cohesion work develops active citizenship through social action and encourages connection and a greater sense of belonging to communities.
Our support involves one to one mentoring and group-work and can be delivered on a face-to-face basis or remotely as per Government guidelines.
