Support After Murder and Manslaughter

SAMM National provides support to anyone who has been bereaved by murder or manslaughter. We support close relatives, wider family members, friends and communities including people affected by mass fatality events.

 

Services:

  • Individual Support – One to one Peer Support by phone with a trained volunteer (all volunteers receive bespoke training and have been bereaved through homicide themselves).
  • Helpline – Call 0121 472 2912 or Text 07342 888570
  • Confidential Online Forum –   gives people the chance to talk to others and explore different bereavement related themes. You can talk about anything from a serious issue to a more light-hearted subject depending on how you are feeling
  • Online Pop-up Café Sessions – Sometimes we cover specific topics or bereavement related themes and we will advertise these in advance.
