The Empower Network

The Empower Project is led by a community organisation called DADS (Dyslexia & Dyspraxia Support) for parents who have children with learning difficulties and additional needs. We target 4 groups, parents, children & young people, the wider family circle, and professionals to enhance confidence and learn together to develop skills to support these children. This project also provides support to children and families who are awaiting a diagnosis. 

 

Services:

  • Information sessions for parents/carers and professionals virtually online via Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
  • Family activities & children’s activities on a weekly basis and during school holidays.
  • Information Line service 5 days a week from 10am – 5pm.
