At Belfast & Lisburn Women’s Aid we provide a range of support services to women and children experiencing domestic abuse. These support services include emergency accommodation, specialist counselling, group work, personal development programmes, and one-to-one support. We also campaign for legislative change in Northern Ireland and constantly seek to raise awareness of the impact of domestic abuse with various online and social campaigns.

Preventative education for secondary school children
An online chat service available for women who can’t or don’t want to speak on the phone or send an email. It provides a discreet and easy way for women to reach out for support. The service is available 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, however messages sent outside of these hours will be picked up and replied to the next working day.
